You claim to be a community watchdog in the interest of our citizens, but you clearly have no vision for the future Elsinore, it could be due to the fact you do not own a home or property in Elsinore. The rumor is the home you’re staying in has numerous city code violations but that’s for another blog! As a home & land owner in the city I like what im seeing and hearing from my local government, many new and exciting things will soon make our little town what it should have been years ago, a nice place live!
I agree with MK! Community watchdog - my A@*! This sounds like an angry and lonely person trying to make a name for themself. I've seen nothing but POSITIVE changes going on in this City. I think Mayor Magee and, the prior Mayor (Buckley), have done a terrific job. Let's hope Magee is reappointed Mayor - we need him to keep our City going forward.
Kudos to Governor Schwerzenegger in stating that for every $1.00 spent the government spends $1.10 and that they cannot fix the problem because they are the one's who created the problem. Sounds identical to Lake Elsinore city hall. They have created this problem therefore they are covering up resolving the corruption and money problem.
The audio portion of our articles are for entertainment only.If you do not wish to listen, don't click the button. This was not intended to offend anyone. There are those who enjoy this.
Those who don"t own property in Lake Elsinore consider it a blessing at least the out of town developers and crooked attorney"s won?"t be taking your hard earned money. Be glad! And if you bought a bond issue home you are really getting ripped off. There is just not enough honest city fathers and mothers who care to protect you.
It is time for you Nay-Sayers to move on. You call yourself taxpayers but you don't own anything to pay taxes on. What a bunch hypocrites. It is time for the old watchdogs to be put down (figuratively speaking) Say something nice or just SHUT UP.
Did some checking and foun out that our community watchdog owned 10 acres. Also owned a huge house and property some where at the end of Elm st.for many years. The house now occupied was purchased and given to the daughter to use as collateral for the purchase of another 2 story house. It would appear we have some information discrepancies.
Have you heard of the new housing development next to the Serenity tract off of Corydon and next to the floodplain that had to stop the development because it was being built on an earthquake fault? Doesn't the City know there are 8 faults in the flood plain and surrounding areas? Does not the city have maps of the area showing those faults? And can you imagine they want to build in the floodplain where the faults are located.
So, Watchdog doesn’t own any property, that is what I thought. I heard Watchdog sued the City and took our hard earned taxpayer money and put it in her pocket. Sounds just like the people before her, what was their names?…………………Washburn & Winkler. It doesn’t how matter you color it she took our money and kept it. A REAL Watchdog would have given it back to the Taxpayers. It appears she is as greedy as the rest. I mean sue on behalf of the Citizens of Lake Elsinore and then keep the money. Shame on you watchdog ……………..shame on you.
Obviously you don't get documents before you make statements regarding the watchdogs ownership of property. Your statements are false unless you can produce a document which so states. Liar's get caught.
I asked A real estate person by the name of R.....d K...p and he says if you don’t own property you won’t have a copy of any paper work. besides what about the money watchdog huh show me the money be a true person of the people and give them back their hard earned tax $$
Ahhh! Once again your attitude does not allow yourselves to see the real truth. Yes, there was given a small portion of a law suit that NOBODY ELSE would help with. You fail to understand that approx. 2.5 times the amount that was recieved went straight back to the city.Attorney services are not free. The watchdog you are refering to, is the only one who stood up and said wait a minute, this is wrong and did something about it!!!
Everybody...PLEASE stop the 'bashing'! The present, AND PRIOR, Mayor have to deal with what they have been given (by the city). They can only do so much. As for the attacks - on bOTH sides, PLEASE stop. We need to move forward....lest we be left behind!
Your Citizens Against Gridlock suit settlement agreement will take $2.3 million dollars in city transportation mitigation fees away from the Railroad Canyon Road interchange and put it toward improving Bundy Canyon Road from I-15 to Mission Trail, I don’t see how elsinore will benefit from this, im sure wildomar and the coming soon Wal-Mart are very happy about it but I don’t understand it? , sad part is your using elsinore tax dollars to improve something that is located in the county when the funds could have gone towards improving the Railroad Canyon Road interchange in elsinore, im sure you have no idea what Railroad Canyon Road interchange is like at 8am / 5pm since you don’t have job that requires you to use the Railroad Canyon Road interchange, So next time any of you are sitting waiting in that interchange thank your watchdog group Citizens Against Gridlock for doing a Bang Up Job!!
Dear Watchdog: can you look into why the Treasurer spends more money on travel than most of the council members? What are the taxpayers getting back from his travels? Where is the benefit? Please help up stomp out this misuse of city tax dollars!
By the comments of the those who are trying to degrade the editor of Elsinore Magazine it is obvious you know nothing about what is fact and what is really going on behind the scenes with our tax money. It is said Peter Weber has a lot of documented facts. At last we have someone who will expose. You just shoot off your big fat mouths obviouly because you can't stand the fact that the statements have been researched and they are fact.
First time blogger, recent reader...I am a bit confused about what some of you fellow bloggers are refering to in your comments, so I thought I would go the the city's website to catch up on the minutes of the council. Much to my surprise ( and embarasment ), the last minutes posted are dated 3-8-05 and today's date is MAY 12, 2005. Since we switched to Dish Network, we no longer can recieve the councill meetings on T.V. so an up-to-date minutes review would sure be appreciated...Maybe EM2 can find out who in City Hall is dropping the ball and by the way....keep up the good work!!!!!
Im a resident of lake elsinore living in the Tuscany Hills area, I did some research this morning and MK is correct, Riverside Superior Court case no. RIC 418775 clearly states the facts,we the tax payers of Lake Elsinore are on the hook for improvements to the interchange of Bundy Canyon Road from I-15 to Mission Trail, this is at a cost of $2.3 million dollars. This interchange is not located in lake elsinore and according to caltrans will have no affect on relieving the mess at the Railroad Canyon interchange, I also went to the city website looking for information and was at a loss to find anything current. I will go to the city later today and ask for the information on the current Council members & city Treasurer spending habits and post them for all to read.

What on earth was that????? Thought this was the place for information about our city. If I wanted to see that garbage - I'd tune into MTV.....

MK hit the nail on the head.
