I have not seen a collection of such illiterate, paranoid and idiotic people since I was visiting the restroom at a Pink Floyd concert in the 1960's. It seems that most of you simply don't trust government, and like to make blanket statements that you take as fact. Maybe you should look at the issues from a neutral perspective, and then intelligently analyse the situation. You don't like high water rates? Who does? Just because the rates were increased doesn't mean that electricity cost didn't increase. According to the District's own website, the solar power project was intended to power the District offices and some of the treatment plant. It wasn't meant to cover all the power that it takes to pump water to tanks...DUHHHHHHHHH. Also, did you just disregard that Metropolitan Water District raised the cost of importing water? Seems like some of you morons need to get some education before embarrassing yourselves by making stupid comments. Has anyone asked Chris Hyland...the champion of spending rate payers money honestly...why she chose to spend $2000 on a trip to a water industry convention a month before she was scheduled to leave the Board. Seems like I got ripped off on that. Investigate, evaluate and make up your minds wisely. Not all government is corrupt. Most of you have no clue what it takes to run a business, a city of even a utility.
